You don't need to torque them up. Just tighten them till they stop turning

Oh and the oil filters are different between 2.7 and 3.0

oh and it really helps if you fill in your profile, then I'm not assuming you have a 2.7 and giving you the wrong parts and info

Based on a previous post in the L494 section I think the OP has a 2016 L494 3.0L, and why would you not bother to torque the cap up when it does actually have a figure of 25Nm moulded in to the cap for this purpose, presumably amongst other things to stop it being over tightened and possibly cracking being some sort of plastic composite material.
