United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

What warranty are you using? Even Land Rover's extended warranty can be used at indies. You don't have to use the main dealer. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Hi - yes, its the LR warranty, When I spoke to one of Roy's team at Langley 4 x 4, they were not sure if it would cover all the labour costs - would cover parts.

I will check again with Roy directly though - thanks for the prompt.

Kitchenfitter, Mileage or time as rubber perishes. My car had belts, g/box flush & transfer box oil done at around 13000 miles. Luckily I stay in same town as Disco Mikey. I actually had them done a year early. Car not used much & a bit OCD regarding my cars, but better safe than sorry Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e

I had the same fault on my RANGE ROVER SPORT 2015 The new part has been modified from the original design with a hole drilled into the silencer. The silencer gets clogged up over time not allowing the air out to lower the car to access height.

(Suspension Air Supply Unit Exhaust Valve Fails To Vent).
See TECHNICAL BULLETIN LTB00793NAS3 23 AUG 2016
https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2016/SB-10097249-1020.pdf

I replace the SUSPENSION COMPRESSOR SILENCER part No. LR088858 very easy to replace, take about 5 minutes.
Make sure the car is in the access lower position first before replacing the silencer.
To access the silencer which is under the spare wheel, undo the chrome clips holding the top cover of the compressor then using a 17mm.spanner undo the silencer.

Install the New silencer and Torque: 2.5Nm
Replace the cover to the compressor housing using 19 chrome clips - see pictures

United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport Supercharged HSE Santorini Black

We've had the main dealer on the phone asking if we have any Gen 2 belt kits on the shelf

The answer was no (I do, but I'm keeping them for my own customers Laughing ) but it's a little concerning that service items are unavailable Shocked
