leather Looks great. Any reflections from the sun ?

Must try the PVA glue on mine.

No reflection at all, the pva didn't bleed threw but the finish wasn't as good as it should have been.

I could have used black leather it would have matched the dash pretty good but I'm glad now I didn't.

Will probably do the B and C pillars next once I've swopped out a bad wheel bearing on the wife's D3.

Hopefully found my evap leak will get in there tomorrow for a look see my cheap little ebay smoke machine seems to be doing the job

That's my vacuum leak all fixed so just the supercharger bearings, coupler, coolant bottle the floats gone porous o/s lower control arm and I mite be done

So smoke test passed vacuum leaks seem to be fixed but the pvc still hisses dispite a new 1 and O rings think I will swop out that chappy plastic hose for a rubber one as others have done. Still chasing multiply misfires on cold start and a few when normal driving
Coil packs and maf sensor next I think.....plugs all done......twice

I still think I have a vacuum leak somewhere that's not showing up even with a smoke tester. I replaced the pvc but I still get a hiss, dissconnect it and put my thumb over the end no more hiss. Still waiting on a new maf sensor the 1 that arrived was clearly a used item ebay company says it must be a mix up blamed it on a returned item . Let's see if a new 1 arrives.
Anyways iv just learnt how to screenshot on my phone here are my fuel trims



No idea if there good or bad I'm still learning about such things. Am still getting random multiply cylinder misfires which go once warmed up suggesting something expanding due to heat and sealing.
Iv got a length of hose now so tomorrow's job is to replace that pvc plastic pipe and see if it makes any difference.

Well you add long and short term together and that gives you the net result.
If LTFT is more than 7 then something is wrong.
Maximum is about 20

I’m learning too. It seams you get different long term values at different revs
So have a look just above 1300 rpm. I think that’s the area that will generate fault codes.

Iv not heard about adding them together but iv found a pretty good guide which explains long and short term fuel trims. Following this it looks like mine are pretty good and the current urban mpg is reading 13.9 mpg

Checked them again after a run and trims were even better

Just didn't get the time to replace the pvc hose with a rubber one but have been watching the fuel trims.

While the weather is improving I'm turning my attention to the wheels as I'm going to refurb them my self.
I picked up a spare supercharged wheel and tyre off the bay to see if I like the new colour iv choosen . Removed the tyre from the rim this afternoon.

Thing is it came with a brand new 295 40 20 tyre fitted albeit budget, I didn't think this size would fit without rubbing. Here is a link for the tyre I'm still pretty much going with the avons 275 45 20 iv picked out so this tyre might be up for grabs if any one wants it.
