5 or 6 years is about normal before they start to fail, so, if you are still on the original I would recommend changing it.

I have a 2015 RRS too and it’s on its original battery. Used as a 2nd car so sometimes doesn’t get used for 2 or 3 weeks. I always put it on a CTEC charger when I know I’m not using t more often. I’m under the impression that the CTEC charger can also recondition the battery so if it’s on it’s way out it could possibly fix it. I know that if I use the car for a few days then put it on charge it takes almost of full day for the CTEC charging lights to be all fully lit so I assume the car has a lot going on behind the scenes that uses a lot of battery power. |

Also don’t forget about the stop/start battery,,I had same problem with one of my L494’s saying low battery,it wasn’t the main battery that was the problem it was the stop/start battery. Andy.

Changed my battery in March 2021, the previous one had lasted exactly 7 years . |

Thanks for the info, I’ve already done a reconditioning with the Ctek so it’s probably the battery or stop start one .
