I suppose you will reach a greater market if you just use "V8" as this could obviously apply to the NA and SC owners. Alternatively, you could use "TDV8" to coincide with the release of said engine... but immediately at least, you may sell less of those. If it was me (and I was being driven strictly by commercials) I'd go for the "V8"...

They'll look great either way, I'm sure. Out of interest, are you supplying these with tougher glue? I know a few have reported of "unsticking" that you've sent out replacement strips for... Very Happy

Would agree with shmoogle = go with the " Range Rover Sport V8" versions as ok to a wider audience.

Personally I always fancied them in the opposite format/finish. ie the total plate/sill in SATIN with the words in bright finish. I would also second the point re stronger adhesive .

But still have to say these sills are simply the best Very Happy

MDP - I know there were issues with reversing the etching which tasmod has covered before Wink Smile Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

V8 TASMODS

Gave it 5 minutes thought and concluded that both are fine enhancements. If pushed to decide, V8 gets my vote.

You could run a vote...but I agree with Hartley. "V8" gets my vote also - really does not matter whether it is petrol or diesel - both are impressive in their own right.

ditto however on the unsticking issue. I'd even cleaned the sills with alcohol first (a grappa di Brunello if I remember Wink ) 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE, Java/Ebony/Cherry, Privacy, Sunroof, PTI, Premium Sound, SatNav, Cold Climate, Tow kit, CarStyle coded grill and vents, Tasmods, Stormers, JE Exhaust, Autobiography badge

No, well yes, but it's more that the low yield of such plates from the process would make the ones that weren't scrapped due to marks created in the etching process very expensive. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

You should look at what tape you use to stick them down as all 4 of mine have lifted and are now at the back of the garage gathering dust.
