The 1st port of call with this kind of problem is always to check the main battery. They are usually only good for around 5 years, so a replacement might be necessary.

Halfords won't touch an RRS's battery.

After all the stories on the forum I was surprised to hear that a friend had his battery on a 2015 Sport replaced st Halfords.

Interesting. When I asked them to swap the battery in my TDV8 they went away t check their list and then said they weren't allowed to touch it.

Earthing point under either the nearside and offside front wheel arch protectors, probably due to let go at anytime due to the galvanic corrosion that the berks at LR never thought about! Maybe worth checking them anyway |
