I have this problem now, so until i can get one sourced, how to I fool the switch?

I seem to recall a previous post from Disco Mikey endorsing the use of a paper clip to bypass the switch.

Hi Iv done the bonnet catch switch and it still goes off what other one should I try next |

When mine goes off, its normally the boot. I have to open and close both boot compartments to reset mine. So annoying. Wish you could just turn the alarm off ! |

Eventually got mine sorted. Was in fact (as EVERYONE said) the Hood latch. |

I replaced my switch some 5 yeras ago because the alarm kept on going off. Recently the bonnet open message has come up unless I close the bonnet with extra force on the right hand side.

My left catch doesn’t latch unless bonnet slammed.
