Interesting. I always thought the D2 was rear only. Learn something every day 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Did just use the stock non-ace belt, or did you have to replace the tensioner too? I am thinking about a temp repair whilst I sort out a new pump. |

I have a 2006 RRS 2.7TDV6 and the bearing on the ACE pump has collapsed. New pump is over a grand. I have looked at the shorter belt, but does that also need a new pulley or do you just reroute and skip the ACE pump? Any help appreciated. |

To maybe answer my own question, I bought a non-ace belt (8PK2012) and tried to fit it by bypassing ace pump, but it's way too short.

You need a new alternator, mounting bracket, tensioner and belt to fit to the 2.7 |
