Hockey Sticks.....

Went on Friday to get my interior trim wrapped in high gloss black. Despite having booked for 12pm was told I'd have to wait 4hrs to start!!! Needless to say I walked out......decided to buy the bits and do myself, however after researching on here how to remove the hockey sticks (2010) I think I'm going to try and do in situ. If anyone has or has found a decent how to please let me know!

I think it ages the interior a bit. If wrapped can always revert back as well. Range Rover Sport HSE and for a bit of weekend fun a S1 Lotus Elise with a few track biased additions!

If you want to remove the hockey sticks, you do have to remove the trim panel they are attached to first as they are held in with 5 screw which you get to from underneath. The trim panel is quite simple to remove though.

Col how do you get the panel out you have pictured? Mine is all cracked around the rotary gear selector part and want to either sand blast and gloss black or replace. How is it removed?

This is for both 6 & 8 speed transmissions, will need to read through to find which parts you need, but to just remove the console it is basically the same steps on both, it's just that on the 6 speed the gear stick knob and gaiter needs removing first, would suggest anyone with the 6 speed stop the vehicle with transmission in neutral before removing gear stick as gives more room to lift console out without the gear stick shaft being in the way
