V8 tdi Engine sys fault

Been doing a bit of research on the code I have P000E-00. Vehicle runs out of power but will restart, eg. ign/on/off.
There is a volume control valve , how ever I think the code refers to a volume sensor rather than a valve . Can anyone help please , I have a rough idea its on the pump , but not sure .

I have no idea what your fault is, however it clearly is a fault and you should be aware of your legal rights, as I've no doubt the garage does!
https://www.themotorombudsman.org/knowledg...rights-act
Be aware of the timescales and I would suggest you make sure your contact with them is recorded (text/email).
If you paid partly or in full with a credit card, you also have protection under S75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974, the CC company is "jointly and severally liable to the creditor", namely you. The garage will know this but are hoping you don't.
Good luck and don't let them get away with it

Agreed. Take it back and tell them to sort it out to your satisfaction. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

My TdV8 had a split Intercooler hose, symptoms were black smoke and jumping into Restricted Performance, switching off and on cleared it.
I bought replacement silicone hoses and fitted the top two
myself, took less than 20 minutes, including taking the clips off the old hoses and installing them on the new ones.
Everything seems to be OK now.
I didn’t bother with going back to the garage and I wasn’t 100% sure the warranty covered hoses AND upgrading the hoses seemed a good idea.
Might be worth looking on YouTube to see how to take the hoses off and inspect them, unless you can see the split without. 2010 HSE TdV8 in Stornoway Grey.

I dont think any of the hoses at fault .
I get small puffs of white smoke on accelerating, so no no black. Without putting the car on LR diagnostics I cant pin it down.

Can I ask what would be average fuel consumption for most v8's out there I'm just wandering if mine is too high as I would guess on local 12/24 mile runs should be more than 20 mpg.

I wandering if the faulty sensor has anything to do with it, or perhaps that's the best I can expect.

I am trying to see if my ongoing problem is a consequence of this fault code.

Sorry bit of a typo error with last post!

OK , looking for a good guide to replace the drivers side intake manifold , its cracked, This will no doubt be the trouble behind the fault , at last. The seller has agreed to give me a replacement but not the fitting.

Anyone done this and how long does it take.

Sorry V8 3.6tdi

The first fault showing the engine faults would I think relate and cause the other faults. Any help appreciated!

I have just fitted a new inlet manifold and I get these faults after the rebuilt , I tried to erase on Gap but its not happening . I have checked all the plugs I had disconnected but nothing obvious there eit

Sorry the last picture would be the fault to go on. So looking for help.

Fault found with above picture related was 37 fuse. Seems it was responsible with a whole list of things.

However after all the work the P000E code is still there.
