Sounds like the usual LR dealer take to gouge as much money as they can out of mugs customers.

Thank you, yeah I knew I weren’t going crazy. Do you know any good indie’s around London? Preferably North or west London? |

They told me during a service the front discs needed replaced at 6000miles. I said change them under warranty as the car was under 3 years old. They are obviously not fit for purpose. They Took it elsewhere to be told utter rubbish, nothing wrong with them Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e |

My RS6 needed front discs every 10K, but they were only £450.00 from a VW dealer, £600 from Audi... |

Jay, perhaps put a separate post up asking for recommendations around your area. 2006 2.7 TDV6 HSE in Cairns Blue. |

I used to know a guy who took his Audi S6 on a trackday one Saturday. On the Sunday he replaced all the brake pads.

I can recommend Belgravia Garage in (you guessed it) Belgravia. As the name suggests, they aren't the cheapest but in the 4 years I have used them they are honest and do a good job. Also being in that area, most of the cars they service/repair are of the LR marque. Ask them for a free vehicle check and don't mention the discs and see what they say. Nothing to lose. Keep us posted and good luck. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue 2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time? |

I'd be telling the dealer principal that, for starters, and copying in LR CEO - tbollore@jaguarlandrover.com according to https://www.ceoemail.com/s.php?id=ceo-8968. You ought to be considered to be a valued customer with that sort of spending record. I doubt it will have any effect, but it might be worth a giggle if nothing else. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders 2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed |
