It's got to be the intercooler. But why is there water there? I'm putting a lot of water in the coolant filler each day, and water drips out from the bottom of the plastic cowling attached to the intercooler. There is a metal pipe running towards/under the bottom and is concealed by the plastic attached to the bottom of the intercooler... |

you don't mention which engine you have, but the crossover coolant hoses are notorious for cracking, resulting in a slow leak.

Had the coolant crossover pipe and water pump replaced (preventative measures) - R12k later. --

I still don't know what the issue is/was since it just stopped leaking all by itself before I had a chance to get the garage to have a proper look at it. I think in my case there is likely a leak in a coolant pipe that goes somewhere down near the bottom of the intercooler on the off side. |
