First Issue With My RRS

Morning all,
Over the last few months the car has been faultless, but I have now got an issue,
the passenger side door lock is not functioning properly so I was looking into this,
and noticed that the IID tool I have should read this as a fault and I can clear it, and see
if it comes back..

Well me being me read the faults and this issue was one of three..
cleared them all and the only one that reappeared was the passenger front door..

I then lowered the car slightly and uploaded the new data..
Extended mode was showing so I reset the CCF to the first setting when I plugged in the IID tool..

Then this morning I had the following;

"B1109-11 (2F) Passenger's door central locking motor - General electrical failure - circuit short to ground
( on 27-04-2019 12:01:10 at 43458 mi )

ADCM-Active Damping

U0415-68 (2E) Invalid data received from ABS control module - Algorithm based failure - event information
( on 27-04-2019 11:58:17 at 43458 mi )

BCM-Body Control

B1B01-87 (2C) Key transponder - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message
( on 27-04-2019 11:59:43 at 43458 mi )

CCM-Cruise Control

U0401-81 (AF) Invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module - Bus signal/message failure - invalid serial data received
( on 27-04-2019 11:58:15 at 43458 mi )

U0415-81 (2Cool Invalid data received from ABS control module - Bus signal/message failure - invalid serial data received
( on 27-04-2019 11:58:15 at 43458 mi )

U0418-68 (2Cool Invalid data received from the brake system control module - Algorithm based failure - event information
( on 27-04-2019 11:58:17 at 43458 mi )

TCCM-Transfer Case

U0415-00 (2Cool Invalid data received from ABS control module
( on 27-04-2019 11:58:16 at 43458 mi )

These were showing as amber on the dash symbols but a red triangle..

reset again and now the only dash error is;

I have had winter tyres on for just over 6 months with no pressure monitors in them,
the message showing till yesterday was "Tyre pressure monitor unavailable" and no amber warnings..
always went out on car start up

Is all this possibly due to a low battery, its the original one from 6.5 - 7 years ago.

I also get smart key not found every now and again despite all new fob batteries,

Any and all advise would be fantastic..

Thank you..

P.S the smiley faces are the number 8? should really be a frown.. Sad ===========================================

Buy a new battery before you do anything else. Pointless messing with IID if you don’t have a decent battery. Gone - 2008 Stornoway Grey RRS 2.7 TDV6

Personally as suggested I would wack a new battery on it and go from there, if it's the original battery it's done pretty well, with the electrics on these being a bit temperamental for the sake of around £100.00 not worth messing about with. The TPMS on mine occasionally does things like that but it seems to be affected by the ambient temperature, mind you the systems pretty useless anyway.

Cheers
Col

Thanks guys,
I am looking to get a new battery fitted in the next few days,
I will also be putting the summer wheels with the sensors back on the car,

I hope this will fix the error messages, but at the moment I only have the
tyre one as all the rest have been reset and cleared and not so far returned..

Will advise on how I get one..

Col,
Your comment on the TPMS has made me feel better,
I now know in my head its potentially the battery but its always nice to get some
back up and others history to my thoughts..

BKHK,
Thanks very much,,you have confirmed my thoughts.. ===========================================

I cannot believe it,

Went out shopping this morning and as I was driving along the old message
appeared again "Tyre pressure monitor unavailable" so I pressed the OK button.

And all the amber warnings went out, (Triangle & Flat Tyre Sign)

car has been restarted several times and the codes read again,
all cleared and now I have no error ,

I think I will still get a new battery fitted, but at present all seems to be OK..

Thanks again for all your help.. ===========================================

Or charge the current battery, and get a volt meter on it to check running and loaded voltages.
What sort of journeys does the car do? A few runs a week is not enough to cater for the amount of electricals on these or the D4's. Many on the D4 forum use an Optimate or a CTEK.
As you already know, a low battery can throw some strange fault codes. 2011 MY D4 HSE

Did a new battery cure your issues, I have just had the same experience and codes, although no TPMS fitted so none of those.

Thanks in advance.
