New member with common radio problem - help please

Hi, just joined the Forum and only had my Sport HSE TDV8 (57 plate) a few weeks, however it seams to have the problem i have seen so many times on here but with no definitive answer. The entertainment/navigation screen started to loose some of the buttons, TV, Rear Screens & DVD, they greyed out so you couldn't touch them at the same time the sound went from the radio. Now all I have a is the Land Rover logo on screen and no sound from radio or CD but power to the unit. I have checked all fuses and there is power into the amp. I see some people mention the Bluetooth but not sure where that is. Ant advice would be most welcome.

I had a similar problem. Turned out to be a faulty amp.

Thanks for the replies, seems strange how it also effects the sat nav & Tv, I am going to get a MOSt tester and check out the fibre optics

Not really. It stops the network talking.

It doesn’t pass messages on in the chain

Module No.2 is described as Radio Receiver Module which is the TMC module I think, No.3 is the RSE Module, not sure on the first one I think it may be the TV Tuner.

Cheers

2 Traffic info (waste of space)
3. RSE = rear seat entertainment

Thanks for all the feedback, have taken the rear entertainment out of the loop, now have radio, sat nav, 4 x 4screen and front tv (sound only at moment) Held the fibre optic from the rse unit to the blue tooth and all came back on.
