Technical its the missus motor and we pay for this year £640 with admiral £130 less than the AA from last year with 2 years ncd , it's a case of shopping around and the postcode lottery, even though the AA offered a £4 discount to keep the price the same as last year.

I know it is of no use in the UK but just wondered if the AA do it there, down here with the AA you can also insure the car for an agreed value not just current market value, cost's me about the equivalent of £500.00 fully comp. with agreed value of £40k if written off etc. for the car worth about £15k. Also as they have had less claims due to Covid 19 lockdown actualy had a rebate on premium. Must be a first insurance company giving money back with out being asked.

I knew my insurance was coming up for renewal & I've been with LV for several years so was slightly worried due to some of the comments on here about their refusal to insure, so I was pleasantly surprised this morning at their quote of £285 fully comp last year I paid £320. |

So what did Craigb86, the original poster eventually pay. Its so annoying that people ask questions, get advice either good/bad & do not have the curtesy to return & give the answer to their problem. Range Rover Sport (gone): Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe: 992 Porsche Carrera 4S: Range Rover Fifty P400e |

Generally, motor rates are holding stable. In the last 12-18months, with minimal driving, a much lower incident rates, means lower losses. Plus changes in legislation, have reduced projected losses especially around whiplash claims. So motor rates are not moving forward by a large amount.
