275/55/20

I really like Guyzer73 RRS with 275/55/20 on stormers:

The question is will they fit my 08 TDV8 without modification, if not, what do I need to do?

(I did PM Guyzer but I think the last time he posted was over 3 months ago, so I thought i'd ask here too)

I found this picture when I was looking for tyres for my 2006 S/C. I took a punt at Hankook Dynapro AT2 in 275 55 20. I also bought an iid tool and raised the suspension by 15mm. I have no problems at all. Can't comment on how they would be at standard height but I can drive about in access mode at lower speeds with no rubbing either.

Give me a shout if you need more pictures or info

Ahh that's interesting, Guyzer73 PM'd me back and said he raised by 15mm but had to remove the mudflaps as they rubbed. I think he was running BFG KO2 which may have a bigger overall size due to tread depth.

Can I ask which IID tool did you buy, are they pretty easy to use?

I didn't originally have mud flaps and fitted them after once I seen how much clearance there was. Dont get me wrong there isn't much space but there is space. I bought the iid from island 4x4 and it is pretty straight forward to use. I have mostly just cleared codes after repairing a few faults and sorted the suspension (calibration and height adjustment) I'm in the process of looking into updates to get my folding mirrors etc programmed.
