Joy, so the car is having the manifold changed now but on my way to the garage the DPF - See Dealer warning came up and the garage haven't been able to clear it with a regen. Going to take it back and go for a long drive on the motorway in the hope it clears otherwise it's another expense!

Araldite rapid 2 part. The key component is the patch which had an almost identical radius to the manifold meaning a very small gap between the 2 plastic layers for the araldite to bond to. It was a section out of a screwdriver tray. All I could find but in fact was spot on. 👍. This won't come apart. The only way of failure is if the crack starts further along ie around the front or rear cylinder area. But these areas are supported by the ends of the inlet manifold which is the reason it fails in the centre usually as its least supported.
This did come apart Optimism was unfounded. Have just had the 'pleasure' of fitting new manifold. Anyway all sorted 3.0 SDV6 HSE L494

Started the replacement of both Inlet Manifolds on my 2011 RR Sport TD V6 HSE.
Do I have to remove the EGR valves to enable me to remove the fuel rails ?
Any help appreciated.
Thanks

Yes I’m afraid so. Def did for drivers side. Most awkward access to get these off. Also fuel cross pipe at rear v difficult to get off as I recall.. Good luck!3.0 SDV6 HSE L494
