Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor and DPF Help

H i All,

2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6

So i have just cleared the red DPF full warning to allow further investigation as i am confident the DPF is not blocked but it has triggered due to too many failed regen requests.

on a run i notice exhaust temp bank 1 sensor 1 is way off the mark! all other read around 400 with the pre-dpf sometimes climbing to 650 to clear soot but bank 1 sensor 1 stays at around 130. if i put my foot down and really boot it i can get the sensor to keep up with the others but as soon as i let off it drops off again.

can anyone tell me where this sensor is located i am guessing it is duff and needs changing out and the car wont allow a dpf regen with the parameter missing?

see below log from IID, you can clearly see the sensor in question as the red line and you can see where i put my foot down and it catches up.

If it’s the same as a 4.4 tdv8 in the L322 then one of the sensor will only shoot up when second turbo is opened up with a throttle above 2500rpm Visitor from fullfatrr.com

Yes i did a little research last night and found a thread on the jag 3.0 tdv6 (same motor) that showed exactly the same temp readings. I think it is after the secondary turbo. Thanks for the help!
