A very common fault , mine did the same new alarm sensor required bonnet area I had my indi replace mine as its service was due but apparently it is an easy fix it you want to replace it yourself. |

I would hazard a guess and say the bonnet switch is faulty,,, or mal- adjusted. Disconnect it and link the connector out with a paper clip or something similar and see if the fault disappears when you set the alarm. I believe it's a known problem on other models. 2010 RRS, TDV8

I recently had this issue too. Immediately jumped to the conclusion the latch sensor was duff but infact a little lube of the latches themselves sorted it for me. One side just wasnt quite latching back correctly and i assume the sensor wasnt making. |
