Worth noting that it's a "whichever comes first" requirement. So a low mileage engine will still need the belts doing at 7 years, and a high mileage one might need them doing sooner as it will hit the mileage limit sooner. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Element - air cleaner
Filter - engine oil - element
Filter - odour and particles
Filter - fuel
Screen wash

£560.07

Or

112,000Mls/84 Months Service
Plug - oil drain
Bolt - hex.head
Filter - engine oil - element
Gasket - cover
Belt - timing
Kit - inj pump belt
Filter - odour and particles
Bolt and washer - hex.head

3+ promotional oil

£1,124.50

Ive just booked the 84Month at Guy Salmon Portsmouth! Tried to book with Hendy Southampton but get no email replies or no call backs, Also they dont appear on the LR online service booking portal so maybe they dont want service business!

Who knows mine is low mileage but it 7yrs now so thought it best to get the belts down with LR for the history btu also if there are any arguments firther down the line for things like the crankshaft.

Dont know why it needs screenwash!

https://osh.landrover.com/service-history check your last service here
My last one was the 60K mileage service but as last year nothing was possible ive just skipped a minor as It hardly did any miles and coudlnt be done last year, there will be loads of cars with a blip in the history and the MFR will have to respect that also.

Maintenance
Oil Change £221.85
Brake Fluid Change £53.46
Front Brake Pads and Discs £636.27
Rear Brake Pads and Discs £418.79
Front Brake Pads £370.57
Rear Brake Pads/Shoes £198.65
Replace Front Wiper Blades (Pair) £59.65
Rear Windscreen Wiper £38.98
Replace Battery £306.88

The above prices are quite high but for the likes of the oil change price isnt actually that bad considering a stamp in the book, and the cost of the oil, Battery price is steep when the battery only costs abotu £120

Courtesy car costs £30 per hire not per day but are like rocking horse poo so ive just opted for her indoors giving me a lift there and back as there is little wait time I booked to day for the service on thursday as the guy said most people want a courtesy car! Due to the amount of work he said it might be ready by the end of the day but might need it until the next day ,(just hope its not the rookie working on it!) Im gonna quiz them on the crankshaft issue if I can to see what they say.

I could use an Indy for this yes and probably will for other works like brakes and the likes but just for the engine issue potential I figure LR are more likely to offer good will if they have been the only ones who touched it.

Merc were the same my Amg need some work and they coverd 60% of the cost for a gearbox module that failed which was fair considering it was over 5yrs and just out of extended warranty. If a jobs worth doing, get a someone who knows what they are doing to do it!

Mines similar, 7 year old in July so assume it needs the service with belts changing. Also need this service to keep the warranty valid as they say must be serviced to manufacturers specification. Had no quotes as yet but would be interested in a ball park figure so I don’t get ripped off.

Mine will be booked in in May 2022 for the timing belt change and service - 35k miles, 7 years old in Sept 22. Sadly will go down the LR dealer route (Watford) as they will work on any warranty related items - had a great interim oil change at Langley 4x4 but sadly they can't process warranty claims otherwise indy all the way.
