Hi is there any way of finding the build sheet for my car? I can’t find any free vin decoder which gives me the spec. Got a rubbish spec check one given with car but it says I have the 10 inch rear entertainment as well as the 8 inch so don’t really believe it.

Just tried this but won’t let me get to the build sheet . Just had the Topix one sent to me but would be good to compare . Is there a way to get the build sheet from vindecoders?

Sorry but what vincoders gave me aligned to my build sheet but I’m afraid I don’t know if you can get an original without going to JLR I’m afraid Lee

Nice. Just fitted some genuine LR 22 inch 508s on mine. Had the same ones as yours (901s) but time for the tyres to be changed so found these with almost new tyres on. Was cheaper to buy these than get new decent tyres for the 901s.

Looking to put 22s on mine too...and possibly aspec style part carbon fibre bodykit.

Regards the rear entertainment screen..the 10 inch units look nicer n posh but from end user perspective ie practicality and comfort the head rest units are much better and if speccing a car from new would go for head rest units aftrr having experienced the 10 inch seat back mounted units..

Mines got the 8 inch ones in the headrests. Not used much but anyone who gets in back are immediately impressed and can’t wait to try it out. Don’t know if it’s cos the screens are in the headrests but the headrests are the comfiest I have ever tried in any car..

Yeah...the winged head rests are super comfy.

The screens in the head rest give a better viewing angle and distance..not to mention do not take up space.

Kids love the 10 inch screens but for adults they feel too close and also make rear feel less roomy as they take up space.

As we all know LR dealers aren’t prone to sharing much for free, however I did procure my build sheet via email from my local dealer a few months ago. I was calling about a separate issue, and thought I’d ask - may help to befriend the service rep and ask politely - received it the next day, and spot on.

Hadn’t had any contact with the dealer in quite some time, and they did not sell car to me, or sell it new. It was purchased from an indie about 500 miles away - the closest I could find, properly outfitted. Vincit qui se vincit
