HDC Speed Control

I read somewhere it's possible to control the vehicle speed when HDC is enabled on a 2010 L320 by using the cruise control buttons. However I tried it and it didn't seem to work.

Is it supposed to?

Remember that HDC has a speed above which it will not operate. I think it's 30mph from memory. So you need to be doing less than that when you turn it on. It'll tell you if you're too fast.

The speed control using the cruise control buttons is quite fine grained and you may need to have several pushes to get a noticeable increase/decrease in speed. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Is the speed displayed on the cluster like the cruise control speed?

Not on the L320, I believe. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Seem to recall from memory each press of the plus or minus button changes speed in increments of about 0.3mph. It is a really good bit of kit though it can take a bit of getting used to.
