They are superbly robust...we fit them on hydraulic breakers and they survive the rigours of construction sites...
I have mounted them underneath horsebox trailers and they work brilliantly.

You can unclip them from the plastic panel they are located in. Then get yourself a male female obd port extension lead and tuck it right out of the way, then run the extension lead to a different location tucked away but easily accessible to you if needed.

The fact that the theives can not plug into it instantly will be enough to put them off as they don't have the time to go hunting for it. You will get away with just a broken window rather than an empty driveway.

Did anyone find any good insurance companies?
LV have stopped, last year I paid about £671, now quoted £1675 by NFU, over £2000 by A Plan. Sounds like SVR insurance has increased 3 fold!!!!! 2018 SVR

NFU if you're in their coverage area are normally the best - even if they're not the cheapest.
