I had an update today to S20C

But also interestingly I had a Telematics update which I've never had before which was like 1mb and updated my telematics to 19.2

Not sure if that helps but there you go!

For anyone who cares no idea what the Telematics update to 19.2 did but S20C has fixed the issue where USB drives with MP3s on them appear greyed out.

Straight after the reboot my USB that wasn't recognised before was now fully recognised and plays perfectly. Non JLR Vehicle

I'm on 20B. Downloaded monthly map update last night onto USB, stick it in the car, it deletes the current versions and then this happens:





I mean FFS, how hard can this be? LR, you build cars, this is what you do, this is your business. And yet, I seem to spending a stupid amount of time in a dealership getting stupid fixed that should work in the first place. Can't get it in until the 16th and of course they have no cars available until Dec. So now I have to my exasperated wife around because of LR's legendary reliability.

I had a similar issue with map updates before, it was an issue with the USB drive {probably corruption} I downloaded the update to the same drive again and it installed ok next time.

Join the club lol, they do wind you up sometimes.

Try another USB and try to redownload it.

You have to use a USB download for the map bits then plug it in to the car because of the massive file size.

SOTA happened this morning to 20C so plugged the USB back in and got my maps back. I can also say that the HUD definitely works in tandem with the nav as the speed display was all over the place without any maps.
