Trying to check suspension in a newly aquired 2009 RRS.
In high I have three wheels at 20 in and one at 21 in when measuring from wheel centre to arch.
What is the standard figure and how long should it take to lift from normal to high.

Should lift within 5 seconds. Instantly really if compressor good and filled the tank.

Do you have a figure for the High Position? Any idea of the time to go from normal to high ?

Mine takes around 10-12 seconds to lift from standard to off-road height, that's if I start it up and put it straight into off road after being left overnight. Can't really remember what the difference between normal and off road height is, but sure someone will come along who knows, I don't think you can calibrate the normal ride height and the off road height separately if that is what you are thinking, calibrating normal height automatically sets the off road height, but again not totally certain on that one either.

Col is correct, the off road and access height settings are just offsets from the calibrated normal height. You can't set them individually.

Summary:
Access mode is approx. 50mm lower than normal height.
Off road height is approx. 55mm higher than normal height.
High speed mode (activates if speed over 100mph for more than 5 seconds) is 20mm lower than normal mode.
Extended mode occurs when the vehicle senses it's grounded (driver can't select it) and is approx. 50mm higher than off road mode. Drops to off road height if the speed is more than 2mph for 45 seconds.
Additional extended mode can be selected by the driver if already in Extended mode. This is done by pressing the brake pedal and the suspension up button for 3 seconds. This gives whatever lift is left in the suspension system. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

In high three wheels are showing 20 in and one 21. I guess the height sensor on the 21 wheel needs adjusting or has been replaced in a sloppy manor.

Seems like it. 20inches is high anyway so it'll benefit from being calibrated correctly.

Remember that you'll need a four wheel alignment doing too. The camber changes with wheel vertical movement and if it's being aligned with the wheels at their current height, it'll be out when you calibrate to the correct height. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

See, I knew somebody would know. What possessed you to move back to good old Blighty, nearest I ever got to Noosa was Brisbane and Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast.

Is the calibration done physically by moving the ride heigh sensors or part of an electronic diagnostic programme

No, you do it using something like a Gap IID diag. or EAS tool or the likes of. Well worth investing in one.

Definitely 100mph reverts back to on road mode when speed drops back down below 80mph for 30 seconds.
