Tow bar wiring question

So I’m in the process of wiring the 12s socket and the 12volt ignition supply Red/White is not active, the trailer fuse F22 (10amp) behind the glovebox which is an ignition supply is there. Any ideas or is there somewhere else I pick one up? Thinking rear compartment 12volt socket? Steve

Try red wire at relay base. As that comes from the fuse.
See if you have power at the fuse with ignition on

Maybe you need to plug in a mini relay at the rear for it to work (in the area behind the rear Left light) There is already a wiper relay there.

But Yeah use power socket other wise

Thanks Andy, yep relays in but not switching, I’ll take the ignition supply from the red and put a fuse in it to be safe.

oh.
I bet it clicks.

The problem is there is no power on the blue.

There should be a fuse between blue and the thick green/brown (live feed for trailer), that's the problem
If you were to fit a 15A fuse at the LR trailer socket it would work as intended and power the red/white

That’s it Smile cheers Andy I’d never of thought of that. The clear fuses are part of the LR 12n socket, that bridge must be part of the LR 12s loom? I’ve fitted a generic 12s socket.

Thanks again mate Very Happy Steve
