You should have a DVD unit under the front passenger seat that contains the sat nav DVD.

it looks like mine is a 2010 version of the Sat Nav I think a Denso touch screen, if i go into navigation and then map updates it asks for a license key |

If the OP 's car is a early Facelift MY10/11 variant the only people that can update the Sat Nav map is a Dealer, it can not be updated via a DVD Disc, Memory Stick or hidden menu, MY12 on can be done with a memory stick.

I wonder if its worth all the effort! Guided by posts on here it seems that you can only upgrade older LR SatNavs so far, even with bootleg copies of newer disks from eBay etc. They are always going to be out of date and won't know about roadworks and accidents etc. And people seem generally to be pretty unimpressed with the newest LR SatNavs stuff when compared to other manufacturers (again from what I've heard here and elsewhere).

So is your car a 2009 pre-facelft or a 2009 59 plate facelift variant ?
