I think that's the one . I thinknit goea straight from the battery to the starter and alternator .

I'm gonna ring a few places tomorrow see if they can get it in . Its doing my head in now hahahs

I have just googled land rover specialist and they were one of the first ones that popped up will be giving them a call tomorrow

They are just a parts / spares shop.
but well stocked and the fella behind the counter is really helpful and
Knowledgeable.

The Garage i use is Ultimate 4x4 in Netherton

The terminals on the 2.7 weren’t standard items.

The 3.0 are different to 2.7
Probably easier to replace cable

I will be ringing a few garages tomorrow see if they can get me in but does anyone reccomend and good andntrusyed garages in the Midlands area apart from ultimate in Netherton? Just incase they haven't got time?

I can't advise on any trusted indies, but be aware unless you can obtain a new lead elsewhere a garage may want to get one direct from L/R and they are the best part of £200.00.

Just a quick update ...... had the car back yesterday . Turns out it was a faulty starter motor .......a slight crack on the housing part.

Thank god it was an easy and quite cheap fix.
