I'm gonna pop outside in a bit just to check the starter turns if I bridge it with a screwdriver .

Put the transmission in park or neutral and see if you can turn the engine by hand, if engine is seized shouldn't be able to turn it over, if it turns probably not seized at least.

Before work this morning I turned the viscous fan bolt which made the crank turn to the point it hit compression . But it turned a few times ..

I read this and after the first few post I thought, engine seized and likely snapped crank. Try as Col said and turn the engine, if not, pull the starter and with it connected, press the start button and see if it works. I fear the worst but hope for the best. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

As a long shot, what battery is it and where was it from? Have a look on the label (usually on the back) and see if there’s a calendar on it showing when it needs a recharge and if that recharge has been done. That recharge date is for when it’s stored on the shelf before purchase and not after it’s been fitted. There’s a chance it may be new but flat after 6 months on the shelf. And if it’s been done late, it could be too late with batteries such as Calcium (Often branded as silver) being beyond recovery. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I think he's tried a different battery from another vehicle and still the same.
