Wiper Blades

Hi Guys,

Has anyone retrofitted the Bosch flat blades or should I just stick with the standard ones?

Thanks

Bosch Aero Twin I think they are called, I wouldn't fit anything else now.

All personal preference, I fitted the bosch and binned them after a month as thought they were crap, noisy and juddering and that was on a new screen.

Cheers

I have Bosch on my car and I won’t fit them on the front again as they are slightly wider than OEM and the end of the blade contacts my A pillar trim if I have them on fast action. It gets a little annoying when it starts tap, tap, tapin. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

I've got Bosch ones on mine. Seem to work fine.

I also use Rain-X in the screenwash which means the wipers aren't often needed at A-road and motorway speeds. Thumbs Up 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

or

Ideally you want to fill the reservoir from empty (or near empty).

I have also used:

The only issue I've had with Rain X is in some limited conditions you can get smearing first thing, but it goes away fairly quickly. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

If you use rainx, you only need to do a flick wipe at city speeds. Above around 40-50mph the water just blows away so you hardly ever use the wipers. It keeps the screen cleaner also. I do not know the last time I filled the washer bottle as I never have to clean the screen. Used it for years Very Happy
Get the small bottles that you wipe on the screen rather than the washer additive
