It appears that the Advanced Factor one is cheaper. And they're a site sponsor so you're supporting the forum by using them. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Socks are to keep the gear shifter warm in the winter.

Hi I've just changed mine, not because it was broken but because the P button looked like it was smudged and it was in my line of vision ......I've kept the old kit just in case it does ever jam

Hello mate if you pull the bottom of the cup holders out there's a red ribbon, pull this and the car will go into neutral so you can get it moved until you get the switch |

Mines going in to main dealer Thursday for a new one,LR tech came out Sunday as mine broke again after AA bodged it,he had a new switch but couldn’t fit it as he couldn’t get in touch with anyone at warranty care with it being Sunday but he fitted one that he had repaired which is probably stronger than original as they are only plastic.Im going to ask dealer for the old one back & keep it in glove box as a spare. Andy.

Mine just went. Ordered from Advanced factors... BUT as a PSA - i can't think of any other part on the car, so easily replaceable and cheap that can totally immobilise it so easily. If you are planning a long road trip; suggest you get one and hope you never need to use it. 2022 P440e AB |
