thats the exact issue I had in the BMW as you say with the volume lowered in the aux setting it cleared the sound up still not as good as original but quite close. obviously I would need a set of r/h dash parts you had made how would I go about getting those made and what sort of cost is involved?

I swear they've gone up in price on AliExpress now - although I do notice there's a 'standard size' alternative now, fits where the original screen was.. it's barely any cheaper, sadly! 2014 BMW 530d Touring, 2006 BMW 650i, 2018 Mini Cooper S |

Have a look for Krando on Aliexpress. They are selling them for £581.27.

PM sent, pre-warning, it's not cheap. On that note if anyone on the forum knows how to get parts made cheaply from CAD files please share so others can get these made at a more affordable price than 3D printing. |

The first interface you see is the actual Land Rover interface as it is on mine, you unplug the ribbon connecting the original unit to the screen then plug it into the android unit leaving the original unit there.

I like that - and it might save needing to replace dash trim but as said, I wonder what the mounting solution looks like? It could just be a big gaping hole from the windscreen side for all the pictures show so on that basis... you first, mrluke!

I can pair it to either. It's up to you which one you want to use, when I couldn't get it working properly I kept it connected to the car. Now it works properly I use the android one. Steering wheel answer and hang up work. |
