Suspension Fault RRS TDV8 2007

Hi All.

When i turn car into a corner with a slight bit of haste I get a flashing red suspension light. With the note, suspension fault, please stop vehicle when safe to do so.

Any one have any ideas what this could be?

Suspension all functions as it should etc. Car is 2007 RRS 3.6 TDV8.

Many thanks in advance.

I would check your fluid levels for the active damper.

it's the yellow cap just to the left of centre when you open the bonnet. It's prob just abovre the lower limit hence when cornering it triggers the fault.

I would then look for where it's leaking from..

Use the correct oil to top it up if it requires topping up. Expensive things live in that system and you don't want to give them any excuses to mess about further. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Thanks for fast response guys. Just got home and checked and it’s a fair amount below the min mark. So going to get it topped up. Wondering if the cap is poor as the top of reservoir is wet.

What fluid do I need to top this up? Or is it just the LR Cold Climate fluid?

Thanks

Yes, LR Cold Climate PAS fluid. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

Thank you very much!

Topped the fluid up and hasn’t missed a beat! Will monitor level and see how it goes.

Thanks.
