Dont worry we will be visiting this afternoon and we have pre warned them.They are not getting a penny out of me ,it is there mess they sort it .I will also be looking for something for the inconvenience,i might try for Hybrid Tv on my HSE which is on order .You never know |

Uh... don't want to pi** on your fire but in fairness, Anton you should really always check with your lender that any balance is settled before cancelling direct debits. This would, I imagine, have been mentioned when your lender confirmed the settlement figure in writing. If you overpay because an extra direct debit is processed after settlement occurs, they are legally bound to repay it within 14 days of the settlement being made. The Financial Services Act is good for some things at least Appreciate that it doesn't stop cockups, but even so

This has happened to me twice before, although i never got to the stage where i missed the payment.. always chase up stealers every time i give them a car.. having a cherished plate sometimes holds something over them, as you keep the V5 for the car, so if they drag their feet, you can do so also when the new V5 arrives.. hehe.. hope it gets sorted Anton.. |
