Apart from dealers not many have SDD.

Not having an IID to edit CCF is a concern though.

So the other option is to call a local L.R. dealer and ask how much a new Eng ecu is and how much labour to program.

Is there a dictionary on here for abbreviations Smile so replacing the modules is a lottery and could course problems going forward Sad

My ecu is on its way back from the engineers as I’ve lost confidence in their abilities, I’ll get it off to another and hope Wink

Checked online with LR and a new ecu is £1100 then recovery to the dealer and whatever they’ll charge? that’s if their even interested in doing it?

Patience is waring a little thin now Mad Steve

An ecu kit is about £300
An iid tool about £500. These keep most of their value

Just keep all the old parts

Will the IID tool alleviate any of the problems Mike is talking about? Steve

Any indy worth their salt will have SDD

Autologic is good, to a point, as they don't use the most up to date firmware for module updates. And CCF editing is limited too

SDD will update all modules (with security clearance) but CCF editing is very limited

IID is not used by all that many indys, despite its capabilities
