I think you need to reconnect the battery at midnight

I'm surprised that the clock doesn't automatically set itself like on an iPhone. The tech has been there for decades. RRS (MY13) Santorini Black SDV6 HSE luxuary

Yeap. Though it would still use the factory radio which is missing

The dash display is controlled by the OEM radio clock - as the radio clock wanders off time so will the dash display - if there is no signal from the radio the dash display will just tick over.

If there is no OEM radio, the only way the dash radio time can be set is to take power away by disconnecting the battery - when power is restored the dash clock starts at midnight - hence the above comment to connect power to the car at midnight.

I don't know if it helps but I replaced the original head unit with a Pioneer double din one and I got all the wiring harness from IncarTec (site sponsor and really helpful guys).

Part of the process was to dismantle and move part of the old stereo that contained the clock unit, plug in the new wiring harness and tuck it down the back of the centre console where the stereo is.

If you look at this (in my gallery as I can't seem to upload it to this thread) on page 2 it tells you how and why.

As far as I know that's the only way you will have the clock on the dash but I'll gladly defer to greater knowledge.

If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time?

I had this issue recently on my RR Sport. After ages trying, i worked out that you need to turn the head unit "off" and then you can enter the display settings (using the steering wheel controls).
