Thanks all, so basically HSE is top LR standard spec, HST is an HSE but with bigger bumpers?

Overfinch is/was LR approved & sold in their dealerships I believe. You can also get different "levels" of aftermarket depending on your budget. As an example my partner's 4.2SC Overfinch has really tasty wheels, smoked rear lights, white dials and badges - that's it. Up to you whether than enhances or detracts from the value but its enough to make it stand out from other HSEs |

One thing I am sure I don’t like is the colour coded C pillars! I don’t know why I just don’t like the look of them.

If you do consider a HST make sure it is a Factory model not a "Dealer" version as that will simply be just a HSE with the body kit and badge fitted, and may not have any of the HST factory standard options fitted to it i.e. sunroof, locking rear diff etc. The rear spoiler is basically identical to the RRS1 facelift A/B as I did fit a A/B one to pre-facelift as it had the reverse camera in it which I wired in. I personally think the HST exterior styling was basically the predecessor for the the A/B just a bit squarer, as having had both think it actualy looks better, although all personal choice.

Can't be certain as can't really remember but ask to see V5 as my a/b stated A/B, so would imagine a hst will state HST and a hse will say HSE.

I have a 2005 4.2L SC and it doesn't have HST or HSE on the bodywork or in the log book. However the logbook does say "RANGEROVER SPT V8SC STD A"

I don't think the HST was introduced until 2007 which I think coincided with the introduction of the 3.6 TDV8. I believe there was a

My old pre-facelift was Stornoway Grey great colour, the earlier cars were Bonatti Grey though I think, Stornoway was something like 07 on cars. Rimini Red is nice in the earlier RRS1's.

The first 4.2 SC were labelled FIRST EDITION on the log book, I had one. Not sure what was difference was. I think maybe an orange colour option? |

I’d love that Vesuvius orange one but they seem to command a premium a few thousand more than a like for like model of a different colour. |
