Ive got the same problem on mine and watching with interest  Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Appears to e a common fault,, not something for the average Diy buff to attempt. There are a few places that repair faulty instrument
Clusters,,,, one being an outfit called totaltronics. Check out their website for more info but basically you an post your cluster to them for repair in a one or two day turnaround,,, or if your local they will remove the cluster as well. 2010 RRS, TDV8

If your good with soldering it is just surface mount LEDs on the circuit board failing. They are normally in pairs.

Remove, disassemble, figure out what LED you need and replace.

Obviously time between getting LED means you are parked up not going anywhere. 2010 RRS TDV8 181000km
