Xenon light problem

Hi.
I have a rrs Tdv6 2.7 Diesel 2008.
The car was parked for one month since i didnt use it, and when it was time to start using the car again I saw that The xenon light dont work on driver side.
So I took out The bulb to see which type of bulb it is. It was a D1s 35w. So I ordered a pair of those on a website for around 35 euros.
When The package arrived I mounted The new bulb but it still didnt work. So I thought well lets test this new bulb on the passenger side just to make sure that The new bulb works fine. When I took out The bulb from passenger side I saw that it is a D2s bulb.

So my problem is that one side is D2s and works fine, one side is d1s and does t work neither with new bulbs. What is The best and cheapest way to solve this?

Best Regards Daniel

Will ask the obvious but does the working bulb work on both O/S and N/S? to determine if the problem is the bulb or the car. D1s would appear to be the wrong bulb anyway.

Do you mean that I can swap The whole headlight and connect The cable to see if The one that works fine also works on the other side?

No, I meant swap just the bulb from the passengers side as I assume that is the one still working, and fit it to the drivers side to see if it works ok to narrow it down to either bulb or wiring. In either case the new bulbs you have appear to be the wrong one's

For some strange reason I didn't think the headlights were protected by Fuses, thought they were protected by Field Effect Transistors (FET's.). Not sure if they can be replaced individualy or if it's a whole new CJB if it fails completely.

Cheers
