RRS 2017 v 2018 Facelift RRS - difference front seats?

I plan to replace my 2017 L494 SDV8 AB this year. One of the negative points of the L494 for me is the lack of rear (2nd row) seat legroom when I have the driver's seat adjusted for my relatively long legs. That is one of the reasons I'm thinking about replacing my RRS with a FFRR

I went into my local showroom a few days ago to look at the new FFRR and also saw a new RRS. I noticed that the front seats looked slightly different to those in my existing RRS, particularly the rear of the seats which looked more scalloped out. I adjusted the drivers seat to suit me and it looked like there was more legroom in the back (2nd row) seats

I know that the current model FFRR has significantly redesigned seats. So, have L-R also redesigned the shape of the front seats in the current model RRS to give more legroom behind or am I kidding myself?

I believe they have slimmed the front seats down..hence slight increase in leg room.

Thats good to know and might make the difference between me staying with the RRS and moving up to the FFRR which I dont really want to do because of the cost
