I think there’s more to it that just what the power output is. The CCF edit tells the FCDIM what AMP is installed so that it can talk to it. From what I’ve heard, if you don’t do the CCF edits you will get a configuration DTC and may not have all speakers working. Depending on what entertainment you have, there could be upto a dozen edits required. When I was involved in a basic to premium upgrade with famousfive on the Disco forum, it required about 15 edits and we still couldn’t identify which was needed for the FM to work correctly. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

thanks. I’m not about to mess about with something I know nothing about. Swapping amps & speakers, well anything mechanical is fine. But when comes to editing stuff diagnostically and it could seriously go wrong I don’t wanna know. The ff will go up for sale in place for a better specced one ![]() |
