A bit more research ....... Perhaps a jerry can spout is the way forward..... There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

My only concern is whether all jerry can spouts are the same. My cans are 1976 genuine army (very well built) and would a modern Wavian or similar can have the same spout? There is no replacement for displacement - W O Bentley

I bought one on eBay (tank + spout) and the spout didn't fit great and leaks a bit, so I don't use it. However, the design is the same for old and new ones and I'm sure that you might find a good quality one that does the job. As mine is for mowers and the like, I just use a funnel. |
