Just a query Andy but if the fridge connector was permanent live wouldn't this mean you could leave it on, thus flattening your battery? I'd have thought it was ignition switched. Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 |

I haven't done it myself but how difficult would it be to run your own wire back to the glove box fuse box (under the carpet edge and then use a piggy back fuse on perhaps the horn fuse in there??? Robin 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 Gone: Jaguar S-Type V8 4.2 Sport MGZTT 190 2.5 |

My tablet PC, which has a 12 V charger stating 6 A. The 'fridge connector is probably the way to go, though I will need to unwrap the loom to get enough wire to connect to - and, firstly, check it has power to it (before I find it needs a CCF change to activate it!). I have to assume the cigarette-lighter outlets aren't up to it and/or in use (they usually are). |

§ Not sure if it helps but the fridge stays powered on after ignition is switched off but only for a few minutes, then it turns off so I don't know if that means it has 12v permanent live feed or not. As stated previously, otherwise it would flatten the battery. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue 2005 4.2L Supercharged Java Black - gone but was my first love. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If we all point our RR's in the same direction and accelerate at the same time can we turn back time? |
