Hi Guys.

My son is currently looking out for a 2011-2013 Autobiography Sport 5.0 supercharged. We have Had a look on auto trader and there is one he likes a beautiful silver one but we think it's sold, there doesn't seem to be many of these up for sale guess they were not popular with fuel costs

Still that's what he is after but has to be this spec minium. Hard to find them on many landrover sites as they are getting older now and have been looking online but can't find many.

Do you guys know of any good prestige car Companies that have any for sale or even any landrover dealers? Found 2 at a main dealer for him but they are HSE trim and he wants Autobiography spec!

Any help would be appreciated if anybody knows of a good one or two for sale.

Try and find one after Vin No CA759577 2012 on as the earlier engines did have a issue with timing chain guide wear and rattle but after that they fitted modified guides etc. of course they may already have been done on earlier cars so might be worth checking, other than that engines seem to be pretty bullet proof. Not trying to put you off just though it might be helpful bit of advice or suggestion.

20 hours labour
It’s not easy to get someone to fix it
I am having to wait till end of January

Out of interest does yours fall outside the Sport VIN. range? as at one point L/R said they had rectified the 3.0 crank/bearing issue when they obviously hadn't.

I think you may have misunderstood what I was asking, didn't actualy ask about the crank I asked if your car was in the Vin. range mentioned in the L/R technical bulletin relating to the timing chain tensioners, as later 2012 cars are outside that range. The reason I mentioned the 3.0L crank is at one point L/R said they had rectified the fault with that but hadn't back then, and wondered if the same situation applies to the 5.0L chain guides.

Sorry meant to ask what colour is your sport? Only one at the moment had it in June it’s got cream leather it’s surprising how clean it has stace as I am a carpenter so jeans are normally dusty

Tom, if they are of any use or interest File 1 & 2 in "My Gallery" are sales and price list brochure's for the RRS1 2013 cars which will give you a idea of the spec. and options which were available on different models, also have a 2011 price list somewhere. I think you can download them from there as well if you did want them.
