No. It doesn't do it in the summer, only when the weather gets colder. It does not do it all the time either.

Yesterday my wife took the car from Cambridge to the O2 and said there was no trouble at all (nearly 3 hr journey by the way..)

it does sound like a new battery maybe wise, as it's winter.

The battery reads 12.35 volts on my reader. That’s about an hour after the car was driven for 10 miles. Our minis battery reads 12.2 v so it looks like both are on the way out..

I’m sure the temperature gauge has two senders, one is water the other is oil |
