Taken the plunge

Deposit placed on a nice 05 RR sport today, it’s with a trader so I have some warranty, pick it up next week as they’ve got to sort the air suspension.

So let the fun begin! hope it won’t be too disastrous? I feel many questions coming on so bar with me.

Steve

Welcome along, be sure to post some pics when you collect it. Incredible machines - I have only had mine a week but very impressed by its breadth of capabilities.

Thanks for the kind replies, I’m a little nervous as it’s rather a complicated machine😬 I’ve always done my own servicing and repairs on my current fleet but I’m always up for a challenge 😳

The beauty of the RRS from what I have seen, is a huge pool of knowledge on here and across YouTube in terms of servicing and repairs so if your handy with the spanners then it seems a lot is quite achievable Thumbs Up

Well after 3 weeks the dealer finally got the suspension and gearbox issues sorted so picked up my latest project the wife has named Black Bess.

Everything seems to work as it should, she drives lovely no shakes or knocks, stops in a straight line no judder(will need brakes in the next 12 months) so let the fun begin.

Just picked her up from garage after been in for offside cam cover seal to cure an oil leak and an air con recharge. Dealers given me copies of the invoices for all the work carried out before and since purchase which total £3k!
