No, there is no emergency key inside the spare key. Damn it! Vadim A. |

Have you got Land Rover rowing electrics? If you do, have you got access to a battery charger? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

It’s a real pain but you could remove the undertray and connect jump leads from a spare battery to earth and the positive on the starter if you can get to it. 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Not sure about yours, but on my07 (and many other vehicles) you can from underneath connect to alternator or starter and frame to get battery charged in lack of right tow bar electrics.

I’m really not so into cars. I literally have no idea what you just said. But it does sound promising. Please elaborate. Vadim A. |

Unfortunately I can’t get the wheels off as I don’t have that special bit to undo the bolts on the wheels. Vadim A. |

You can on mine get to the alternator positive without taking wheel off, you need jacking up and please remember safety first, jack stand or something preventing personal injury if jack fails.

The only issue with using a battery charger is that occasionally you can’t get the juice in quick enough for a very flat battery and the alarm will start to sound. Then you can’t stop it until you get enough in there to unlock the door, pop the bonnet and remove the battery terminal. At least a pair of jump leads connected to the car and a spare battery at a distance keeps you away from the vehicle should something go wrong.

especially when travelling around the world in a LR, one should be a little prepared. |

And lets be honest - a" little" prepared in a land rover is a lot more prepared than any other vehicle 2012 SDV6 HSE (technically its hers)
