Not really BP, there's another week to go until the selling garages mechanic is back from holiday, the plan is to get the car recovered to them this week ready for his return on Monday. I'd decided to have patience and wait so that the sellers take their responsibility for whatever the fault is. |

Sorry to hear that mate, I wish I was wrong about it but it had all the hallmarks. At least you should have it all sorted but I have to say that all the evidence suggests that a new engine is required. Is that what you’re getting? 2019 5.0 SC SVA (Current)

Not a new engine rather a new crank in my engine, so they tell me. |

I’m sure you cannot just put a new crank in it when they go they also damage everything around the crank on the engine block, once that’s damaged it a complete unit. Andy.

My thoughts too TF but from what I know the crank hadn't snapped as such rather it was very close to doing . The car was driveable although sounding bad and was very rough running. I know a snapped crank would make it undriveable. |

Finally got the motor back this morning, its had a new crank and associated bits, it had basically spun a shell as a few had suggested, the suppling garage did the complete job including body off with no cost to me. Got to be honest I couldn't have asked for better service off them, yes it took almost 8 weeks in total but patience has paid off. |
