2015 RRS found unlocked

Hi everyone, been ages since I was on the forum but I have not long purchased a RRS after a spell without one. I hope I am in the right place for a question about my 2015 RRS.

Logged into the app for my car tonight and it said the car was unlocked and not alarmed!!
I am 100% sure I locked it earlier when I got home.

I had the same thing about a month ago as well but that time just dismisses it.
Thought perhaps I may have accidentally hit the unlock button when I opened my house door but I thought the car should re-lock itself after a few seconds if the door or boot has not been opened.

Really strange, has anyone else had this?

Thanks in advance and again, hello everyone! 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

I find that this happens from time to time on my 2016 RRS. For example, this evening the app says that the car is locked but not alarmed - but I have just checked and it has definitely been both locked and alarmed. Usually, when this happens, the ‘last contacted’ time is some hours ago - for example, this evening it says that the last contact was at 12.53 (see photo). I have come to the conclusion that it is a connectivity issue rather than any problem with the actual setting of the alarm.

That is strange . . . .

Does your car have a warranty of any kind? Sounds like you may need to have a specialist look at it unless anyone else on here has any suggestions. It’s always tricky with an intermittent fault but it’s just possible that a code reader would find something. Current: 2020 P400e HSE Dynamic

That’s a real strange Situation. I had also only the wrong information on my app, but found the car always locked.

Do you always double lock the car? 2012 RRS HSE SDV6, BOURNVILLE 12/12-10/14

Yep always double lock it, I wonder if it’s possibe for someone to be using the same type of key with the same code and they open their car and mine at the same time 😳

I think I will run it in to the stealer as it is under warranty 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography

Yep it’s still in warranty so will pop it in to them. 👌 2017 Range Rover Sport Autobiography
