Usual advise is to put a replacement landrover engine in. 2 year warranty. About £7K. ish + fitting.

Give Joe at Oval Autos a call. He is also a forum sponsor on here and the disco forum. A few of us have had rebuilds done by him now on the 3.0 TDV6.

I completely agree with you. As I mention in my thread, there are a lot of dodgy places around. Only go with someone you have confidence in and do not rush into it. Research is key. Kev

I had my engine done in April so just over 4 months ago. I've put about 5,000 miles on it in that time and it's still running well. In terms of longevity, obviously it's still early days.
